Here’s a set of general guidelines for all participants of  ISBIS 2024 :

  1. Registration and Check-in: Ensure you’ve registered for the conference in advance. Arrive early on the day(s) of the event to complete the check-in process.
  2. Agenda Review: Familiarize yourself with the conference agenda/schedule. Note the sessions, workshops, and keynote speeches you plan to attend.
  3. Name Badges and Materials: Wear your conference name badge visibly at all times. Collect any materials or handouts provided at the registration desk.
  4. Networking: Take advantage of networking opportunities. Introduce yourself to other attendees, speakers, and exhibitors. Exchange business cards or contact information.
  5. Respectful Conduct: Maintain a professional and respectful demeanor. Be courteous to speakers, organizers, and fellow attendees.
  6. Engagement in Sessions: Participate actively in sessions by asking questions and engaging in discussions. Avoid distractions like using phones or laptops for unrelated matters.
  7. Follow Conference Etiquette: Adhere to the rules and guidelines set by the conference organizers. Respect the allocated time for sessions and breaks.
  8. Dress Code: Dress appropriately according to the conference’s specified dress code, if any. Generally, business casual attire is suitable for most conferences.
  9. Refreshments and Meals: Be mindful of designated break times for refreshments and meals. Follow any instructions provided regarding food and beverages.
  10. Feedback and Evaluation: Provide feedback on sessions or workshops if the conference organizers request it. Your input can help improve future events.
  11. Stay Informed: Keep track of any updates or changes in the schedule through the conference app, if available, or by checking notice boards.
  12. Social Media Interaction: Follow the conference’s social media channels and use event hashtags when posting about the conference. Respect privacy and confidentiality guidelines when sharing content.
  13. Follow-up: After the conference, follow up with new contacts you made. Send thank-you notes or emails to speakers, organizers, or anyone who made a significant impact on you during the event.
